Jinson Anto Charls has been appointed as the new Minister for Disability, Arts, Veterans, and Multicultural Affairs in the Northern Territory’s government. In addition to these crucial portfolios, he will also oversee Youth, Seniors, Equality, People, Sport, and Culture.
Originally from Kerala, India, Mr. Charls moved to the Northern Territory in 2011, where he has worked as a registered nurse and in health leadership roles. He is also an active member of the Syro Malabar Parish in Darwin, reflecting his deep ties to the local community.
With his experience in health, leadership, and community service, Jinson Anto Charles is well-prepared to make a positive difference in his new roles, supporting the diverse communities of the Northern Territory.
